What is the Auction House?

The auction house is a menu in SkyMata where players list valuable items to sell to any interested players. It's a great way to sell rare ores, custom items, and valuable armor sets.

How to Sell an Item

Simply hold the item you want to sell in your hand and type:

/ah sell (price)

The server will automatically list your item for the price you specify and make it available to interested players. If another player purchases your auction item, you'll immediately receive the money and they'll receive the purchased item.

If your item doesn't sell in 24 hours, it will be placed into your collection bin — the Ender Chest on the bottom row of /ah. You can click items in your collection bin to have them returned to you, then sell them another way or relist them at a different price.

You can also auction off items and accept bids:

/ah sell (BuyNowPrice) (StartingBid) (BidIncrement)

Players can place bids instead of immediately buying the item. A listing created with optional bidding lasts for one week.

To bid, left-click the item. You can place a standard bid or a custom bid. To purchase it immediately for the buy-now price, right-click the item.

You can also view previous transactions with the gold bar on the bottom row of the Auction House menu to see what items have sold for in the past.

Purchasing Items

There are two ways to purchase items: bidding and buyout. Once purchased by either method, the item is deposited into your inventory.
