The auction house is a menu in SkyMata where players list valuable items to sell to any interested players. Its a great way to sell rare ores, custom items, and valuable armor sets.
How to Sell an Item
Simply hold the item you want to sell in your hand and type /ah sell (price). The server will automatically list your item for the price you specify and make it available to any players interested in purchasing it. If another player purchases your auction item, you’ll immediately receive the money and they’ll immediately receive the item purchased.
If your item doesn’t sell in 24 hours it will be placed into your collection bin. The Enderchest on the bottom row of /ah. You can click items in your collection bin to have them returned to you. You can sell them another way or try re-listing them for a different price.
You can also auction off your items and accept bids like the traditional way. Simply type this command./ah sell (BuyNowPrice) (StartingBid) (BidIncrement)
Players will be able to place bids on your items instead of immediately buying the item if preferred. A listing created with optional bidding will last for 1 week.
To bid simply left click on the item; You may place a standard bid or custom. To buy it now for the buy now price simply right click on the item.
You can also view previous transactions with the gold bar on the bottom row of the main menu to see what some items sell for or have sold for in the past.
Purchasing Items
There are two ways to purchase items bidding and buyout. Once purchased by either it will be deposited into your inventory.
Bidding
To bid on an item left click and you will be taken to the menu below.
Click on the sunflower on the left to bid the default amount that is stated on the auction listing.
Click on the signpost on the right you will be prompted to type in the amount you want to bid in chat.
Buyout
You can purchase an item outright for the listed price by right clicking. You will be prompted to confirm or cancel the purchase.
