🌈 SkymataGradients
SkymataGradients lets you personalize your name and chat separately using server presets or your own custom color gradients! ✨
Your selected gradients and saved custom designs are stored automatically and stay active through relogs.
🎨 Getting Started
Use:
/gradientThis opens the main Gradient menu.
From here, you can choose between:
💬 Chat Gradient — Changes the color gradient of the messages you send in chat.
🏷️ Name Gradient — Changes the gradient displayed on your player name.
🌈 Custom Gradients — Create, save, edit, reverse, and manage your own gradient designs.
✨ Formatting — Manage any available text formatting options.
Chat and Name gradients are independent, so you can use completely different colors for each!
🎨 Creating a Custom Gradient
Open the menu with:
/gradientChoose Custom Gradients, then choose where you want your new gradient applied:
- 💬 Chat
- 🏷️ Name
- ✨ Both
You'll then be prompted to enter 2–4 hex colors in chat.
For example:
#FF70C5 #A970FFor:
#FF70C5 #C875FF #769CFF #70E1F5You'll immediately receive a preview of your gradient.
Next, type a name for it, such as:
Cotton CandyYour gradient will be saved and applied automatically. ✨
🌈 Need Help Choosing Colors?
You can use the Birdflop RGB Gradient Generator to experiment with colors and find hex codes that blend nicely together:
Birdflop RGB Gradient Generator
When using the generator, you only need the individual hex colors for SkymataGradients.
For example, if you like colors such as:
#FF70C5
#A970FF
#70D6FFenter them in Minecraft like this:
#FF70C5 #A970FF #70D6FFYou do not need to paste the entire formatted gradient code generated by the website.
💾 Saved Custom Gradients
Custom gradients are saved to your account so you can reuse them later.
Open:
/gradient customto access the Custom Gradient menu.
From your saved gradients you can:
✏️ Edit the colors
🔄 Reverse the gradient direction
✅ Apply it to Chat or Name
🗑️ Delete gradients you no longer want
Your saved gradients and currently selected gradients persist after logging out or restarting your game.
The number of custom gradients you can save may depend on your available server permissions/rank.

💡 Helpful Tips
Chat and Name are separate. Changing your Chat Gradient will not automatically change your Name Gradient unless you specifically choose to apply a custom gradient to Both.
Presets aren't going anywhere. You can continue using the normal preset gradients if you don't want to create your own.
Custom gradients use 1–4 colors. Enter colors as standard six-digit hex codes beginning with #, such as #FF70C5.
You can cancel creation. If you're currently being prompted to enter colors or a gradient name and change your mind, type:
cancelEverything is saved. Your selected Chat Gradient, Name Gradient, and personal custom gradients remain saved when you relog.
