Resource Backpack

🎒 What Is the Resource Backpack?

The Resource Backpack is a Skymata exclusive storage option for materials from:

⛏️ Mining
🪏 Excavation
🪓 Woodcutting

All three sections share the same storage space.

As you level up these skills, your backpack learns how to store more types of materials!

Backpack space, unlock levels, and supported materials may change as the server is updated. Check the in-game Progression menu for the newest information.

📖 Opening Your Backpack

Use either command:

/backpack

/bp

They both open the same backpack.

Inside, you can:

View your stored materials
Check your progression
Fill your backpack
Withdraw materials
Move materials into a chest or shulker

📥 Fill Your Backpack

Use:

/bp fill

This moves all eligible materials from your inventory into your backpack.

Want to move only one type of material? Use:

/bp fill <material> <amount>

Examples

/bp fill iron_ingot all

/bp fill cobblestone stack

You can use:

stack for one stack
all for all matching items
A number for a specific amount

If the backpack becomes full, anything that does not fit will stay safely in your inventory.

📤 Withdraw Materials

Use:

/bp withdraw

This opens a menu where you can choose what to withdraw.

You can also withdraw a material directly:

/bp withdraw <material> <amount>

Examples

/bp withdraw cobblestone stack

/bp withdraw diamond all

If your inventory becomes full, the rest of your materials will stay safely inside the backpack.

📦 Store Materials in a Container

Look directly at a chest or shulker, then use:

/bp store

A menu will open so you can choose what to move.

You can also store a material directly:

/bp store <material> <amount>

Examples

/bp store oak_log all

/bp store sand stack

If the chest or shulker becomes full, anything that does not fit will stay safely inside your backpack.

⭐ How Progression Works

Leveling up unlocks new materials for your backpack.

⛏️ Mining uses your PyroMining level.
🪏 Excavation uses your AuraSkills Excavation level.
🪓 Woodcutting uses your AuraSkills Woodcutting level.

Open /bp and visit the Progression Menu to see:

Your current level
Materials you have unlocked
Materials you can unlock next

Unlock levels may be adjusted over time, so the in-game menu will always have the most up-to-date information.

Mining materials unlock in this general order:

Basic Stone

Stone, Cobblestone, Deepslate, and Cobbled Deepslate

Stone Variants

Granite, Diorite, Andesite, and Tuff

Nether Blocks

Netherrack, Basalt, Smooth Basalt, and Blackstone

Coal and Copper

Coal, Copper, their ores, Deepslate ores, and Raw Copper

Iron and Quartz

Iron Ore, Deepslate Iron Ore, Raw Iron, Nether Quartz Ore, and Quartz

Redstone and Lapis

Redstone, Lapis Lazuli, and their regular and Deepslate ores

Valuable Resources

Gold, Diamonds, Emeralds, their ores, and other related materials

Master Mining Materials

Ancient Debris and Obsidian

Excavation materials unlock in this general order:

Starter Materials

Dirt and Grass Blocks

Earth Materials

Coarse Dirt and Rooted Dirt

Sand and Gravel

Clay and Snow

Clay Balls, Clay Blocks, Snowballs, and Snow Blocks

Rare Soils

Podzol and Mycelium

Red Sand

Soul Materials

Soul Sand and Soul Soil

Mud and Roots

Mud and Muddy Mangrove Roots

🪓 Woodcutting Materials

Wood families unlock in this general order:

Oak, Spruce, and Birch
Jungle and Acacia
Dark Oak
Mangrove
Cherry
Pale Oak
Crimson
Warped

When a wood family is unlocked, the backpack supports its gathering forms, including:

Logs
Wood
Stripped Logs
Stripped Wood
Stems
Hyphae
Stripped Stems
Stripped Hyphae

Planks are not included. The Woodcutting section is made for gathered wood materials, not general building-block storage.

🔄 What Happened to the Old Backpacks?

Materials from the old Mining and Excavation Backpacks are transferred into the new Resource Backpack.

Your stored materials are not deleted if the transfer places you above the backpack’s current storage limit.

If this happens:

Your materials will stay stored.
You can still see and withdraw them.
You will need to make room before adding more materials.

Previously stored materials also remain available to withdraw, even if you have not reached their current unlock requirement.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have three different backpacks?

No. Mining, Excavation, and Woodcutting all use one shared Resource Backpack.

Does leveling make my backpack bigger?

Leveling unlocks new types of materials. Backpack space is managed separately.

Why won’t an item go into my backpack?

The material may:

Not be unlocked yet
Not be supported
Be blocked because the backpack is full

Check the Progression Menu inside /bp for help.

What happens when my backpack is full?

Everything already stored will remain safe. New materials will stay in your inventory until you make room.

Can I withdraw old materials that I have not unlocked?

Yes! Previously stored or transferred materials can still be viewed and withdrawn.

Can I use /bp instead of /backpack?

Yes! /bp is the shortcut and supports all the same commands.
