Resource Backpack

Store Mining, Excavation, and Woodcutting resources in one progression-based backpack.

🎒 What Is the Resource Backpack?

The Resource Backpack is a SkyMata-exclusive storage option for materials from:

  • ⛏️ Mining
  • 🪏 Excavation
  • 🪓 Woodcutting

All three sections share the same storage space. As you level these skills, the backpack learns to store more kinds of materials.

Backpack space, unlock levels, and supported materials may change. Check the in-game Progression menu for the newest information.

📖 Opening Your Backpack

Use either:

/backpack

or

/bp

Inside, you can view materials, progression, fill the backpack, withdraw materials, and move materials into a chest or shulker.

📥 Fill Your Backpack

Use /bp fill to move all eligible materials from your inventory into the backpack.

For one material:

/bp fill <material> <amount>

Examples:

  • /bp fill iron_ingot all
  • /bp fill cobblestone stack

Amounts can be stack, all, or a number. If the backpack is full, anything that does not fit stays in your inventory.

📤 Withdraw Materials

Use /bp withdraw to open the withdrawal menu, or:

/bp withdraw <material> <amount>

Examples:

  • /bp withdraw cobblestone stack
  • /bp withdraw diamond all

If your inventory is full, remaining materials stay safely in the backpack.

📦 Store Materials in a Container

Look directly at a chest or shulker and use /bp store.

You can also specify a material:

/bp store <material> <amount>

Examples:

  • /bp store oak_log all
  • /bp store sand stack

If the container becomes full, anything that does not fit remains in the backpack.

⭐ How Progression Works

Leveling unlocks new materials:

  • Mining uses PyroMining level.
  • Excavation uses AuraSkills Excavation level.
  • Woodcutting uses AuraSkills Woodcutting level.

Open /bp → Progression Menu to see your level, unlocked materials, and upcoming unlocks.

⛏️ Mining Materials

Mining materials unlock in this general order:

  • Basic Stone — Stone, Cobblestone, Deepslate, Cobbled Deepslate
  • Stone Variants — Granite, Diorite, Andesite, Tuff
  • Nether Blocks — Netherrack, Basalt, Smooth Basalt, Blackstone
  • Coal and Copper — Coal, Copper, ores, Deepslate ores, Raw Copper
  • Iron and Quartz — Iron Ore, Deepslate Iron Ore, Raw Iron, Nether Quartz Ore, Quartz
  • Redstone and Lapis — Redstone, Lapis Lazuli, regular/Deepslate ores
  • Valuable Resources — Gold, Diamonds, Emeralds, ores, related materials
  • Master Mining Materials — Ancient Debris, Obsidian

🪏 Excavation Materials

General unlock order:

  • Dirt and Grass Blocks
  • Coarse Dirt and Rooted Dirt
  • Sand and Gravel
  • Clay Balls, Clay Blocks, Snowballs, Snow Blocks
  • Podzol and Mycelium
  • Red Sand
  • Soul Sand and Soul Soil
  • Mud and Muddy Mangrove Roots

🪓 Woodcutting Materials

Wood families unlock generally in this order:

  1. Oak, Spruce, Birch
  2. Jungle, Acacia
  3. Dark Oak
  4. Mangrove
  5. Cherry
  6. Pale Oak
  7. Crimson
  8. Warped

Unlocked families support gathering forms such as logs, wood, stripped logs/wood, stems, hyphae, and stripped stems/hyphae. Planks are not included.

🔄 What Happened to the Old Backpacks?

Materials from the old Mining and Excavation Backpacks are transferred into the Resource Backpack.

If transferred materials put you above the current storage limit, they are not deleted. You can still view and withdraw them, but you must make room before adding more.

Previously stored materials can still be withdrawn even if you have not reached their current unlock level.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have three different backpacks?

No. Mining, Excavation, and Woodcutting share one Resource Backpack.

Does leveling make my backpack bigger?

Leveling unlocks new material types. Backpack space is managed separately.

Why won't an item go into my backpack?

It may be locked, unsupported, or blocked because the backpack is full. Check the Progression Menu.

What happens when my backpack is full?

Stored materials stay safe. New materials remain in your inventory until you make room.

Can I withdraw old materials that I have not unlocked?

Yes. Previously stored/transferred materials remain withdrawable.

Can I use /bp instead of /backpack?

Yes. /bp is the shortcut and supports the same backpack commands.
