What Are Dinosaurs?
Dinosaurs are custom mobs/pets added to SkyMata. The source wiki says they were introduced on March 1, 2025.
Getting a Dinosaur Egg
The source guide lists Dinosaur/Jurassic crate rewards, the webstore, player trades, the Auction House, KOTH/Envoy/fishing tournament rewards, and giveaways as possible ways dinosaur eggs have been distributed.
Availability changes by season, so check the current crate/event menus for active sources.
Hatching and Taming
Place/hatch the dinosaur egg according to its interaction prompts. The guide says dinosaurs can be tamed using 4 Ham, available from /shop.
Once a dinosaur is unlocked as a pet, use:
/pets
to view and summon available pets.
The source guide warns that obtaining another copy of the same dinosaur does not give you two copies of that same pet, and duplicates are not replaced/refunded.

Most entries describe mountable dinosaurs hatched from dinosaur eggs. The source notes especially rare hatch chances for some types, including a 1% chance for Tyrannosaurus Rex and a 3% chance for one Anklyosaurus entry.
