🎣 Fishing Backpack & Fishing Mastery

The Fishing Backpack is your personal storage and progression system for our custom fishing!

As your Fishing level increases, your backpack grows with you — giving you more room to store your catches. At higher levels, you’ll also unlock Fishing Mastery, where Entropy can be spent on permanent fishing upgrades.

Use:

to open your Fishing Backpack.

💡 Tip: The in-game Fishing Mastery menu always shows the most current upgrade values, rewards, and requirements.

🎒 Fishing Backpack

Your Fishing Backpack provides dedicated storage for custom fish, keeping your catches separate from your normal inventory.

🐟 All Fish Can Be Stored

All fish rarities can be stored from the very beginning.

You do not need to reach a certain Fishing level before your backpack can hold rarer fish. Instead, your Fishing level determines the total capacity of your backpack.

📦 Backpack Progression

Your backpack automatically increases in size as your PyroFishing level increases.

✨ Backpack upgrades happen automatically. You do not need to purchase each storage upgrade.

✨ Auto-Store

Auto-Store allows newly caught custom fish to automatically move into your Fishing Backpack.

Auto-Store begins OFF by default, so new players can choose whether they want to use it.

Use:

/fb autostore

to manage your Auto-Store setting.

Auto-Store also works with catches that contain multiple fish, helping keep your inventory clear while fishing.

If your backpack becomes full, you’ll need to make room before additional fish can be stored.

🐠 Managing Your Backpack

The Fishing Backpack includes tools for managing large amounts of fish without having to move everything through your normal inventory.

You can use it to:

Deposit eligible fish into your backpack
Withdraw stored fish
Sell fish directly from backpack storage
Gut stored fish
Toggle Auto-Store
View your Fishing progression
Access Fishing Mastery

Useful commands include:

⚠️ Some bulk actions may ask for confirmation before completing to help prevent accidental selling or gutting.

🌟 Fishing Mastery

Fishing Mastery is a permanent progression system that unlocks as you reach higher PyroFishing levels.

Mastery upgrades are purchased using Entropy and allow you to specialize in different fishing benefits.

There are four Mastery paths:

💜 Entropy Mastery

⭐ XP Mastery

🎁 Treasure Mastery

Each path contains several ranks.

Ranks must be purchased in order within that Mastery path, and each rank has its own Fishing level requirement.

💎 Once a Mastery rank is purchased, it is permanent.

You are free to work on multiple Mastery paths at once. You do not need to finish one branch before beginning another.

🐟 Catch Mastery

Catch Mastery gives you a chance to receive an additional fish when you make a successful catch.

When Catch Mastery activates, you’ll receive:

+1 Bonus Fish

Higher ranks make Catch Mastery increasingly powerful.

💜 Entropy Mastery

Entropy Mastery rewards you simply for continuing to fish.

As you catch fish, you build progress toward fishing milestones. Completing those milestones earns Mastery Credit, which contributes toward earning Entropy Crystals.

Higher Entropy Mastery ranks improve the rewards you receive from this long-term progression.

This gives dedicated anglers another way to work toward Entropy while doing what they were already doing — fishing!

Your current milestone progress and rewards can be viewed through the Fishing Mastery menu.

⭐ XP Mastery

XP Mastery increases the amount of PyroFishing XP you can earn from catching fish.

As you invest further into XP Mastery, your catches become increasingly valuable for Fishing progression.

This is especially useful for anglers working toward the highest PyroFishing levels and later Mastery unlocks.

🎁 Treasure Mastery

Treasure Mastery gives your catches a chance to uncover special Fishing Loot Boxes.

There are two treasure categories available through Mastery:

💎 Platinum Fishing Loot Boxes

Platinum Treasure ranks become available earlier in your Fishing progression.

✨ Mythical Fishing Loot Boxes

Higher Fishing levels unlock access to the more advanced Mythical Treasure ranks.

Fishing Loot Boxes can contain special fishing rewards including fish, lures, Entropy-related rewards, and other useful fishing items.

🎁 The Fishing Mastery menu includes a Treasure Loot Reference where you can view the current rewards available from Platinum and Mythical Fishing Loot Boxes.

Because reward pools may change over time, the in-game menu should always be used for the latest Treasure rewards.

🧭 Building Your Fishing Progression

Your Fishing Backpack and Fishing Mastery work together, but they serve different purposes.

🎒 Backpack Progression gives you more room to store fish as your Fishing level increases.

🌟 Fishing Mastery allows you to decide how the Entropy you earn should improve your fishing experience.

You can focus heavily on one Mastery path or spread your Entropy across several.

Or work toward all four as you continue leveling.

💡 Good to Know

Your Fishing Backpack is available from the beginning.
All custom fish rarities can be stored immediately.
Fishing levels increase your backpack's capacity, not which fish it can hold.
Auto-Store starts disabled and can be enabled whenever you want.
Backpack capacity upgrades happen automatically.
Fishing Mastery upgrades are permanent once purchased.
Mastery branches can be progressed independently.
The exact balance of Mastery benefits and costs may change over time.
