Safari Nets

Capture mobs into Safari Nets/spawn eggs and transport them safely.

What are Safari Nets?

Safari Nets let you catch mobs and store their unique data inside a spawn-egg-style item. They are an efficient way to transport animals and mobs from one location to another.

Safari Nets can be single-use or reusable, and the source guide notes that catching mobs can have a catcher's fee depending on the mob.

How to Use a Safari Net

Right-click the Safari Net on the mob you want to catch. If you have enough money for the catching fee, the mob is stored in the Safari Net. If you do not have enough money, the catch fails and you can try again later.

The source guide says these mobs cannot be caught:

  • Withers
  • Wardens
  • Ender Dragons

Catching fees vary by mob. Check the current Safari Net interface/fee list before catching expensive mobs.
