How do I join the server?
Java: Go to Multiplayer in Minecraft, add a server named SkyMata, and use play.skymata.games as the address.
Bedrock: Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation users are recommended to use the SkyMata Realm code WA_DE9SUNAF-BT8 to avoid Bedrock Together connection issues. If you use Bedrock Together, connect your phone and console to the same network, enter play.skymata.games with port 19132, run the app, and join the server when it appears in your friends list.

What is the server IP address?
The server IP address is play.skymata.games.
What version is the server?
The wiki states that SkyMata is compatible with Minecraft 1.12–1.21.5 and runs software that allows older and newer versions to connect.
Is the server Java or Bedrock?
Both. You can play on SkyMata from Java or Bedrock devices.
What is the SkyMata Guide?
The SkyMata Guide is a Nether Star placed in your inventory when you join. Right-click it to open a help menu showing what the server offers. If you lose it, open the same menu with /help.
How do I get to Survival?
Join with play.skymata.games, then use the Survival NPC that looks like a dirt block. Right-click it, or use L2 on console. If you cannot find the NPC, use /server Survival.
Where do I go if I have a problem?
The Discord server is the best place to ask for help. SkyMata uses tickets for assistance and bug reports, and staff can respond there. Join Discord.
What are ranks?
Ranks are special donor titles that provide additional perks. They can be purchased from the SkyMata webstore. See the Ranks guide.
How can I fly?
The wiki states that Avatar rank and higher can fly, and some custom items such as Fly Feathers can also provide flight. Ranks are available from the webstore.
What do I do with crate keys?
Crate keys open crates. Go to /warp crates in Survival and use the key on its matching crate. See Crate Keys and Crates.
Where can I get crate keys?
You can obtain crate keys from other players, giveaways, in-game rewards, and the webstore.
I want to support the server. How can I do that?
You can support SkyMata by applying for staff, inviting friends, or making purchases on the webstore. Staff applications are handled through the Discord server.
How can I claim land?
Use /lands create (land name) to create a land. The source wiki also lists /lands claim radius (chunks amount) for expanding a claim. See the Land Claims guide.
How do I earn money on the server?
You can sell items to /shop, go fishing, create a player shop, get a job, trade with players, and use other economy systems described in the Economy guides.
I lost my home. How can I find it again?
Make a ticket in the Discord server and ask for help getting back to your house.
How do I teleport to a player?
Use /tpa (player name). The other player accepts with /tpaccept, then you will teleport to them.
Where do I build?
You can build your house anywhere you are allowed to place blocks. Claim the area so it is protected.
Can I get free loot?
The wiki lists /warp donation as a place to obtain free donated items in Survival.
How can I go back to my house if I leave?
Set a home with /sethome, then return with /home.
Am I allowed to go onto the Nether roof?
Yes. The source wiki says all players can go onto the Nether roof.
Can I turn off my chat?
Yes. Java players can turn chat off in Minecraft settings.
Is swearing allowed?
The source wiki says swearing is not allowed in the main chats. It notes that swearing is allowed in the server's 18+ voice chats.
How do I make my Minecraft daytime?
If your client gets stuck on a different personal time, use /ptime reset to match the server clock again.
What are Messi Hours?
Messi Hours are Mess's scheduled hours to answer questions, directly handle concerns, and provide a scheduled time to interact with the community. The schedule is posted in Discord.
Can I DM Mess?
The source wiki says Mess accepts DMs only from staff members so the ticket system remains the main support channel for the community.
How long do I have to play before applying for staff?
The source wiki states a minimum of 6 hours of playtime before staff applications are accepted.
I'm banned. How can I see why?
The Discord has a Trouble Tracker channel that records punishments and listed evidence.
Can I use my webstore coupon for other people or sell it?
Webstore coupons only apply to purchases for the player who earned the coupon.
How can I submit my build for a building competition?
When a build competition is active, the event post in Discord includes the submission link.
What is the SkyMata Wish God?
The SkyMata Wish God is a rumored entity that grants wishes to random players.
What are player vaults?
Player vaults are additional storage inventories obtained through ranks and some custom items. See Vaults.
What do fossils do?
Fossils are custom items obtained while mining. They can be smelted for plastic used in custom foods and furniture recipes. The item database is available under the site's Items section.
How often does the server reset?
The source wiki says a new season generally begins every 12–18 months and that resets are only done if the majority of the community supports it.
Is this server pay to win?
The source wiki says no, noting that items sold on the webstore are also obtainable in-game without real-life currency.
